What is public writing?

How many doors can it really open?

Lately, I have been writing a lot.

I mean, I did make a Commitment, to write daily with a few exceptions. As I started this module of Praxis the advisor related his writing story. He told us how he ended up landing multiple paid positions from his willingness to write for free, including his current part-time position as the advisor for the module I am currently in. He told us that so many opportunities can be opened by writing.

I know the title of this blog sounds like a challenge, but I actually do agree with the advisor on this one.

Let’s talk about the power of writing.

This post, while very short is doing many things. One, it is helping me to sharpen my writing skills, getting me closer to landing a full-time or part-time paid position. It is also going onto the vast ocean of the internet. Adding more opportunities for me to be found by a potential employer. Once I am in a position where I need to have influence, say the manager of a department, or some executive officer, I will have all of this portfolio to show.

Writing daily also shows consistency.
