To College, or not to College, that is the question.
Sometimes it seems like everyone who graduates high school goes to college. It seems to me that the main reason they do this is because they want to get good employment. Makes sense. I have a theory though. What if most people are really going to college out of fear, conditioning or some other reason and end up going without actually understanding why they feel driven to go to college. I have spent a lot of time thinking about this topic because I seem to be doing alright without it and I also know a lot of people in the same situation. It might be worth mentioning that I think about this a lot because of my own situation and because I consume a lot of content by Gary Vee and have also been taught by most of my mentor’s that college is not neccesary. So… I am going to try to break this down into a congruent article to go through the different aspects of why most people go to college and then present the antithesis.
But everyone is doing it.
I don’t have anything to cite to prove this idea but what if one of the main reasons most people go to college is because all of their friends…well with the exception of that one weird friend, is going?
