God has been planning to send me to NYC for a while.

The empty streets of New York (taken on my 6-mile walk this morning)

Hey Everyone.
Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.

I wanted to write this last week, but clearly I didn’t want to write it badly enough because I succumbed to the, it’s-corona-time-and-I’m-too-lazy-to-do-anything-but-watch-Netflix syndrome.

However, I had a bit of energy after a long week to write this because I felt I was obligated by God to acknowledge Him. So, here’s my story.

Preface

As you all know, I moved to NYC at the beginning of March (2020) to start a new job and a new life. Well, last week I had a shower thought. Actually, more of a realization.

God has been planning to send me to NY for a long time. This realization filled me with joy.

I had been thinking about how crappy it was that I came here right before the outbreak of what appears to be a world pandemic. But then I realized God either has a plan for why I’m here or also wanted me here during this pandemic.
