Advancing ClimateTech Adoption; How a Wisconsin Country Boy can help.
Everyone has a story, a story of how they came to be: an origin story. Their origin story largely dictates how they view the world and what they go on to accomplish. I’m currently reading Will Smith’s Autobiography (Will) and it really has me thinking about my origins, how they shaped me so far, and how they will aid me in the pursuit of my goal; building people-focused and ESG compliant companies that help reverse climate change.
One of the core issues that I want to help solve is the environmental issue of climate change. We already have scientific proof and a number of incredible technical solutions to the problem. So the next steps are adoption and action. If we expect action, we first need adoption. So, how can we persuade remaining skeptics Climate Change is real and solving it results in win-win situations (in addition to averting climate catastrophes)?
From what I’ve seen, the key to this is education, transparency, and persuasion. As it happens a large portion of the remaining skeptics are the same people that raised me, and this is where I can help.
